Within the precincts of the school ‘discipline assumes to mean ordered behavior, but out there in life it is training especially of the mind and character aimed at producing self-control, obedience, etc. It is at this point where the teacher is given a very responsible role. You can never tell where his influence stops. My aim is to create and nurture a school where students not only develop their talents but also set much store by the rules that build the foundation of a cultured person. It will, however, be naive to believe that a school can do it alone. It is being recognized that it is the people around the school that have the greatest vested interest in its rising up to the times. I, therefore, call upon the parents to help the school achieve this transformation.
